Track Introduction

The ICT Track provides a forum for presenting research and innovations that utilize digital technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and organizational effectiveness. It covers areas such as e-learning, learning management systems, virtual and mobile learning, educational technology, data analytics, gamification, digital inclusion, and open educational resources.

The track promotes interdisciplinary discussions on technology-driven solutions that support quality education, lifelong learning, and digital transformation in diverse educational and professional settings.

Prof. Apolinar P. Datu

National University, Philippines

Apolinar P. Datu is a faculty member at National University (NU) Dasmariñas whose academic work centers on tourism and hospitality, social sciences, cultural studies, educational research, and digital media in tourism. His research explores the intersection of technology, culture, and education, with particular emphasis on tourism promotion, virtual tourism experiences, heritage preservation, and student learning outcomes.

He has authored and co-authored several scholarly publications, including Assessing Pinas Sarap TV Show as a Travel Motivation in Promoting the Filipino Cuisines, Understanding the Factors Influencing Online Classes in General Education, Bridging the Gap: Perceptual Differences Between Physical and Virtual Tours in 360 Maynila, and Examining the Promotional Strategies of Philippine Festivals in Attracting Tourists. His research contributions have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and international academic publications.

As an educator and researcher, Datu is committed to advancing interdisciplinary scholarship and fostering innovative approaches to tourism, cultural heritage, and educational development through evidence-based research and academic engagement.
